BIKE SHUTTLE
D&L TRAIL ROUTES

Trail Closure Alert – The Lehigh Canal Towpath Trail is completely closed, between the Mansion House Pedestrian Bridge in Jim Thorpe to the Weissport Canal Parking Area.

Two wooden bridges have been removed and will be replaced by concrete spillways, eliminating the need for the short bridges. Construction is expected to be completed near the end of June, and the re-opening will be widely announced when possible. Please make no attempt to walk or ride up to, or through, the construction zones – it is impassable. Thank you for your cooperation, as we all await the re-opening of the trail!

The Lehighton Outdoor Center now runs shuttles downstream, to the Slatington Trailhead (a 10-mile ride) and the Cementon Trailhead (a 20-mile ride). These are beautiful sections of the trail, nearly devoid of traffic, with only several crossing of roadways… Call us for more explanation if needed! 610-377-1230
